I specialize in all things couples- weddings, elopements, travel and destination weddings. I have a passion for wedding photography that started over 12 years ago when I began doing bridal updos on weekends. Since then, I’ve fallen in love with all things wedding, but switched my focus solely to photography. To me, there’s nothing more special than getting to know a couple and joining them on one of the most important days of their life.
I believe wedding photography is an intimate journey. Anyone can show up day of and point a camera, but what sets me apart from your Uncle Bob with an iPhone is the way I tell a story on film (and a little editing magic too haha). I want to capture your unique love story and the characteristics of each of you that made you fall in love.
I currently split my time residing in both Texas and Virginia, and when I’m not photographing weddings I’m likely either travelling or cozied up on the couch with my 3 dogs- Bunny, Truman, and Po. Outside of photography I also teach classical realism art. I believe this foundation in color theory and elements of design has shaped my photography journey and given me a creative eye.

My Approach
Rose and fireflies dancing in the spiderwebs. Talking for hours and dozing off with the tv on. The record skips a few times and we pick a new song to fall asleep to. Morning coffee, a few minutes late to work, a brisk walk down the street window shopping for the upcoming fall season. Wool sweaters, bare trees, cold nights. The sweetest reminder that summer has one foot out the door.
To be completely honest, we're not like all the rest.
Soaring above the clouds on that flight over the ocean, walking the cobblestone streets. So cold we can see our breath as we hike the open fields in the fog. Climbing and chasing waterfalls while the sun sets behind the mountain and the snow falls in the river. Chatting with locals while we sip our coffee and head out for the next adventure.
Feeling that crisp air as the magical light of dawn sets in.
